Children's House - guests from Alūksne
On August 11, a guest from Alūksne's children's and youth centre had arrived in the children's house. This visit took place within the framework of the national youth programme “bus” implemented by the municipality of Alūksne.
The guests accompanied our students all morning until noon. The guests prepared and organized the various activities that took place in the accompanying music. A friendly atmosphere had been created. The pupils had to think and decorate the labels for each of their badges, and play games, during which the pupils showed and repeated various movements, were also playing games. The most exciting activity was the team's play, during which the students had to get as many talons as possible, which could then be exchanged against various items that had to be packed with fresh eggs so that they would then drop it from the 2 nd floor. It was the team whose egg did not break. The students carried out this task with a large azar.
At the end they sat down in a circle and talked about what was most memorable and liked. Students on active participation were treated with candy.
Everyone remained satisfied: the students and the staff, with the fact that they met such wonderful people and spent time with fun, guests, that they knew such energetic and loving children.
The project “BUS”, implemented by the municipality of Alūksne, aims to promote the sense of responsibility of young people for Latvia's development by promoting the active participation of young people in social inclusion.
The project is implemented under the national budget funding of the Ministry of Education and Science Youth Policy 2016.
