Vivids do Christmas decorations

On December 3, a large city spruce will be burned in THE centre OF Viļānu when the Christmas waiting time starts. This year it will be particularly bright and reflective, as it will be decorated with the decorations made by the vivids itself - more than 200 light-reflecting angels.

Large and small angels will be done by children of THE education institutions and art schools of THE Viļānu association, but any interested party may also prepare their special angel. Materials - rain and snow-resistant polyethylene sheets, angel trapheres, stapler and scissors - can receive Viļānu in a cultural house. Above request to apply for telephone 28662346. If you want, you can add something specific to your angel, such as a snowflap, a heart, or an asterisk, but it must be done from a material that will not die in the rain or snow. The angel ornaments shall be delivered to the cultural house by 30 November.

The preparation of Christmas decorations takes place within the framework of the European Union “URBACT” project “Volunteering Cities +” (volunteering city). The aim of the project is to create a group of active people in Vilnius who, involving co-workers, implement various volunteering activities IN THE Viļānu association, as well as promote co-operation between the local government and the population.
