ZS Liepkalns - The farm “Liepkalns” is located in a picturesque, mountainous place, Ilzeskalna parish in Rezekne municipality, specialising in the crop sector and developing organic farming - works without synthetic pesticides. 150 ha of wheat, rye, oats, peas and buckwheat are grown. The farm produces BIO food, part of its grown production to the final product.

The municipality of Rezekne is located IN Ilzeskalna parish as a top innovative and healthy food from biologically grown buckwheat. “Gricky” batons are a real energy bomb - delicious, nutritious and healthy, while their main raw material - buckwheat grows here, Alexei Dinilina z/s “Liepkalns”. In July, Dinilina has investigated in depth that cooked buckwheat is rich in iron, magnesium, potassium, vitamin B and antioxidants, while the addition of the right spices and fruits also produces excellent taste.
