Conclusion of the second public consultation, the design of the plan is continued

The public consultation of the Rēzekne Municipality Planning 2.0 edition and environmental review project took place over the period from 10 June to 1 July 2020.
In electronic form, the people were able to acquaint themselves at the homepage of the municipality of www.rezeknesnovads.lv, under the heading “Public participation'and in the national single geospatial information portal https://geolatvija.lv/geo/tapis#document_17031 . In the form of printout, in the premises of the municipality of Rezekne, the premises of the local government administration (in the alley of release 95a, 17 kabpils) and 25 Rezekne municipality county boards.
In order to ensure effective participation of the public in the discussion of the version of the spatial plan 2.0, the meeting was organised in the local government administration hall of Rezekne. 14 people participated in the meeting, the presentation visually shows the main changes made in the graphic part of the spatial plan 2.0, as well as the Territorial Use and Building Regulations. After the presentation, the people were able to ask questions and discuss with the designers of the spatial plan.
Written proposals and submissions were accepted in the municipality of Rezekne, the municipality of Rezekne municipality, as well as during public consultation meetings. The possibility of sending applications and proposals to be sent remotely – by uploading a national geospatial information portal or by sending electronically to the official e-mail of the municipality of Rezekne. Stakeholders were given the opportunity to receive individual advice. As part of the consultation, 16 submissions and proposals from natural and legal persons have been received.
The institutions involved, which provided conditions for the development of spatial planning as well as neighbouring municipalities, were asked for opinions regarding the planning documents submitted for public consultation. Overall, 27 opinions were received.
The opinions expressed in the meetings are fixed in the minutes, the submissions of natural and legal persons and the opinions of the institutions are summarised in a table which will be examined during the development of the draft version of the spatial plan 2.0 editorial and environmental review project.
