From 8 to 11 February, AT THE MONIKA Centrum Hotel in Riga, the 100 best Latvian ambassadors of Latvia were gathered in Riga, who, in various disciplines and age groups, entered the Latvian Youth Championship in the final 64-field checkbox. In the Rēzekne municipality, a children-youth sports school IN THE U-16 age group was represented by neal Christine Malahovska, the classic and fast-playing 64-field checker, with two 3 rd places.

7 July, Cēsis VII Latvian Youth Olympics pon the second day of the externalities, Liana Zelina was made a member of the Latvian Youth Olympics. Liana, with a score of 4: 2 (9, -3, -5.9, 6.9) in the final, performed the conditional game favourites Diana Afanasyeva (Preilu municipality). Until entering the final, Liana's quarter-final with a score of 3: 0 (4.4, 3) was played by Aurik Pučkovsk (Riga), but in semi-final with a score of 4: 1 (4.10.8, -10.3) Valeria Mikhailov (Preilu municipality). It is the highest achievement in this season.

On July 7, a VII Latvian Youth Olympics took place in Cēsis. The Latvian Rēzekne and Daugavpils province team won a four-team competition at the first place, win Liepaja, Sigulda District and Riga teams. Rēzekne novandu was represented by Laura Antane, Lāsma Bauska, Evita Ivanova, Dane-Loretta Krasnobay, Elise Poisha, Karina Semjonova, Alīna Zabaluyeva.

On May 13, Riga was held in Riga in the 2017 youth masterrace table tennis group “D” (born and younger) in 2006. 22 participants from various cities and municipalities of Latvia participated in the competition. The Rēzekne District was represented in these competitions by Arnis Nizins (Rēzekne District BJSS), who had no success in the boys' double play – a 3 rd place with Aloyieti Gustav grain. There was also a good success in individual competitions – a high 8 th place.
