Project “Restoration of the pond and improvement of territory IN Pušas village”

By participating in the project competition organised by the “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership”, THE project “Restoration of the pond and the improvement of the territory IN Pušas village” (No. 19-01-AL15-a019 .2201-000007) was implemented in THE parish OF Pušas. It was financially supported for the European Union Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) in the sub-measure “Implementation of activities under the community-led local development strategy” of the rural development programme 2014-2020.

A public outdoor and green area was organized IN Pušas village, creating local residents, as well as a visitor attractive and landscape object in which to spend their free time. An attractive environment was created and landscape conservation and building activities were carried out, a visually attractive place of recreational and entertainment with aesthetically enjoyable landscape.

The project has undergone a pond cleaning and its surroundings, site improvement works; purchased and installed ponton kindness; purchased and installed recreational benches and garbage urns.

The total cost of the project is EUR 10 734,94, of which EAFRD public funding is EUR 8 546,84. Co-financing of EUR 2 188,10 was provided by the municipality.
