Nautrene High School

Nautrēnu High School is located in the village OF Rēzekne Nautrēnu parish in Rogovka village. The school building was built and sanctioned on 2 October 1938. In 1967, the building was built with six classroom rooms and sports hall, and in 1974 the service hotel building. At first there was a six-digit primary school, but since 1948/49.m, a secondary school. The school is a museum where the first work in research began in 1965. In 2002, a methodological centre for the acquisition of Latvian language, literature and cultural history was discovered, led by the teacher Veronica Dundure. In 2009, four new natural sciences and a repaired service hotel building were discovered. As of September 2009, Bērzgales primary school becomes the Nautrēnu secondary school unit. In 2014, a school renovation and a well-equipped school surroundings were carried out.

Nautrēnu vidusskolā 2016./2017. māc. g. mācās 225 skolēni no Nautrēnu, Ilzeskalna, Gaigalavas, Bērzgales, Mežvidu, Salnavas pagastiem. Skolēni var izmantot dienesta viesnīcas pakalpojumus.
23 teachers and 17 technical staff are employed at the school. The director of the school is Anita Ludborža, Director of the Director, Vita Sinkovec.

The school shall implement six educational programmes: the basic education programme/21011111/, the general educational direction programme of general secondary education/31011011/, the general educational direction programme of general secondary education/31011013 in non-spot/, the vocational orientation programme of general secondary education/31014011 with State protection training/, the special basic education programme for educatees with mental development disorders/21015811/, the special basic education programme for students with learning disabilities/21015611/.

The following groups are active in the school: Etnographic and Bar ensemble, musical theatre, dramatic, guitarist, peoples dance, cyclists, newsguards, remedial gymnastics, sports games, Latgalian characters, English-language debates, practical physics, creative work groups; Rēzekne municipality, BJSS training group in basketball and athletics; J. Soikāns Ludza art school Nautrēnu branch. In optional activities, German language, commercial knowledge, household/tractor training/, autotraining, swimming/2 nd class/, acting in a small pool, “be leader”, “JAL ''” can be learned.

With good and excellent success, students participate in the Olympics, competitions and sports competitions; international Erasmus + projects.
